In accordance with the recent changes in legislation, specifically, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 16, 2025, "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Optimization of Criminal Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," aimed at preventing the spread of "dropper" schemes for withdrawing money obtained fraudulently, we inform you of the following.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
• provide access to a bank account, payment instrument, or identification means, as well as transfer payment instruments or identification means to third parties, leading to unauthorized access by third parties to perform payments and transfers, except for providing such access to a spouse and close relatives, as well as to other individuals in cases established by legislation;
• perform payments and money transfers using the bank account, payment instrument, or identification means of third parties, except for a spouse and close relatives, as well as other individuals in cases established by legislation;
• perform payments and money transfers in the interests of third parties or for the benefit of third parties for monetary rewards or benefits of a property nature.
Violation of the above norms entails criminal liability from a monetary fine to restriction or deprivation of liberty for up to five years with forfeiture of property.
We strongly urge you to comply with the rules for the safe use of banking products:
• Do not provide your cards, logins, passwords, confirmation codes to third parties;
• Transactions in the interests of third parties or for the benefit of third parties may be classified as a criminal offense under certain circumstances;
• In case of even the slightest suspicion of fraudulent actions, immediately report to the Bank.

The aforementioned law and relevant amendments and additions will come into effect on September 16, 2025.
