ForteBank Named Best Commercial Bank in Kazakhstan by World Finance for Second Consecutive Year
JSC ForteBank has been awarded the international Best Commercial Bank title by the authoritative British publication World Finance for the second consecutive year. This repeat recognition reflects the bank's steady financial performance, dynamic business growth, and consistent execution of its development strategy.
In 2025, ForteBank's assets grew by 49%, reaching KZT 6.1 trillion. The bank continued to actively expand financing for the corporate and SME sectors, growing its business lending portfolio by 45% to KZT 1.7 trillion. Further strengthening of its capital base and successful attraction of international funding created a foundation for continued business growth.
At the same time, ForteBank significantly strengthened its position in the retail segment. Following the completion of its acquisition of JSC Home Credit Bank, the bank substantially expanded its customer base, reinforced its expertise in consumer lending, and accelerated the development of modern digital services.
Over the past two years, ForteBank has also significantly increased its presence in international capital markets. The bank successfully placed eurobonds, carried out Kazakhstan's first-ever issuance of perpetual AT1 subordinated bonds, and increased its capital to KZT 890 billion, expanding the bank's ability to further finance business operations and implement investment projects.
